Despite inclement weather, with the help of the Glencoe Junior High Project and the Glencoe Park District, Glencoe Central School students, families and staff celebrated the new school year with a Back to School Barbecue on Friday, Sept. 5.

The attendees dined on potato and pasta salads, fruit, hamburgers, and hot dogs. Held in the Central School gym, they also enjoyed music provided by former Central student Andrew Brilliant.

Glencoe Central School, home to students in grades 5-8, held its first day of classes Aug. 26.
