While there is no vaccine to protect one from the physical effects of the coronavirus, the students, staff and teachers at Loyola Academy in Wilmette have found an antidote for psychological and emotional symptoms that many are experiencing during this time of uncertainty.
Like all other schools in the state of Illinois, Loyola’s campus is closed, with e-learning now replacing face-to-face education. Teachers are still leading lessons in math, science and history but also important are the continued lessons of unity, friendship, humor and compassion.
