The occupant of a Glencoe home – found to be holding 35 dogs, well in excess of limits allowed in Village ordinance – was charged with six misdemeanor counts, according to a Glencoe Department of Public Safety release from May 18.

Jeanne Harper, the occupant of the home in the 800 block of Greenwood Avenue, faces three charges relating to owner’s duties to companion animals and three charges relating to cruel treatment of companion animals.
