When something important happens, there usually isn’t somebody there holding a flashing neon sign reading “This is significant!”

That’s not what happens, and that’s not what happened Saturday, April 11. Nonetheless, something important did happen. 

Beth O’Harra and Karen Kristoff, a couple from Ohio, tied the knot at St. Elisabeth’s Episcopal Church. Their ceremony marked the church’s first same-sex wedding and was the first such wedding at any church in Glencoe.
