It’s officially fall, and as far as I’m concerned, no place does fall like the Midwest. 

There are always the trusty standbys of the season: Bears football, Big Ten football, apple cider, the Hawks starting in October, Fright Fest at Six Flags, pumpkins, hayrides, and the rest of all that good stuff. Fall is a comfortable version of winter, if you ask me. We’re free of the mood swings of summer, the brutality of winter and the incessant rains of spring. In the fall, you know what to expect, and often that’s a good thing.
