Although wrestlers from Loyola Academy, Glenbrook South and Glenbrook North didn’t win any individual championships in the 52nd annual Russ Erb Invitational, the Ramblers’ Andrew Gonzalez, Spartans’ Brandon Friedman and the Titans’ Ethan Bond showed that they are among the most talented wrestlers on the North Shore.

Gonzalez was third in the 195-pound class, Friedman finished second in the 220-pound class and Bond came in third in the 132-pound class in the 19-school tournament held at GBS on Dec. 16-17.
