Nearly 1,000 people packed Glencoe’s Am Shalom Oct. 21 for a screening of the Emmy Award-nominated documentary, “50 Children: The Rescue Mission of Mr. And Mrs. Kraus.”

The movie, made by filmmaker Steven Pressman, was produced in association with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. and is part of the Museum’s National Conversation exploring the ongoing relevance of the Holocaust today.
