Park Board’s Gaines to resign with family on the move

Steve Gaines, a Park Board commissioner since 2013, notified the board his intention to resign on July 10.

According to a press release from the Glencoe Park District, Gaines and his family are moving out town after more than three decades, a change which requires his resignation as the district requires its commissioners to reside in Glencoe.
