News From Your Neighbors: Two school-shooting threats found at Glenbrook North

A second threatening message was reported to officials at Glenbrook North High School the morning of Thursday, Oct. 4, according to an email sent out from GBN principal Dr. John Finan.

At approximately 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, students reported seeing the statement “Stay out of school 10 4” carved into the seat of a desk in a classroom, according to the email. Below the statement, an image of a handgun was etched into the desk.

GBN administration immediately reported the incident to the Northbrook Police Department.
