Glencoe’s portion of the Green Bay Trail moved closer to becoming a finished product Tuesday, April 16, when the Glencoe Park Board hired architects to design a new wave of improvements.

The Park Board unanimously approved a $231,000 contract with landscape architects Altamanu, Inc., who will now design an updated connection between the north and south ends of the trail. The district’s requests of Altamanu have shrunk a little since conversations at the board’s February meeting, but still call for a section that they hope will attract more users.
