More than 500 dahlia blooms filled the Regenstein Center at the Chicago Botanic Garden for the Central States Dahlia Society’s 81st Dahlia Show.

“This is our biggest event of the year,” said Michael Cichorski, president of the Central States Dahlia Society.  “And this year, we had someone drive in from North Carolina to see our exhibit.”

The Chicago Botanic Garden estimates the dahlia show brings in more 9,000 people and it is one of the most popular shows.
