Young runners from across the North Shore competed at the Regina Cross Country Invite on Sept. 23 in Wilmette. 

In the team standings, the Glencoe Central varsity boys squad placed fourth at the event, while Nick Litowitz finished seventh in the individual standings. The junior varsity squad also placed fourth in the team standings, with sixth-grader Wil Affolter placed 6th individually. 

On the varsity girls side, Leah Ulrich placed seventh in the individual standings. On the junior varsity squad, Audrey Affolter placed 11th.
