The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education’s Student Arts and Culture Hall announced on October 31 that it will host the “2025 Busan Education Chorus Festival.” The four-day event is scheduled to run from November 4 to 7 at the hall’s Grand Theater.
A Festival of 1,700 Voices
Now in its third year, the festival serves as an educational and cultural celebration aimed at cultivating students’ artistic sensibility and promoting character development through the arts. This year’s event will feature 42 teams, totaling over 1,700 participants. The lineup includes choir clubs from elementary, middle, and high schools across Busan, as well as singing clubs composed of teachers.
Diverse Performances Scheduled
The festival will commence on November 4 with a performance by the Songsujansol Choir from Songsu Elementary School, who will sing “Let’s Go to the Sea.” Attendees can expect a diverse program throughout the four-day event, with performances spanning various genres, including children’s songs, classical music, musical numbers, and popular songs.
Live Stream Brings Festival to Wider Audience
To allow more citizens to enjoy the performances, the entire festival will be broadcast live online. Viewers can tune in through the official “Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Student Arts and Culture Hall” YouTube channel, as well as the “KNN Caenaene” channel.
A Message of Growth and Hope
“This stage, where participants gather their hearts to create beautiful harmony, will be a time of valuable learning and happy growth for students,” said Kim Seok-jun, Superintendent of Education. “I expect the resonance of the chorus to bring happiness to our entire education family and become a dream and hope that brightens the future of Busan education.”
