Approximately 175 runners of all ages put on their Halloween costumes to participate in the Monster Dash sponsored by the Glencoe Educational Foundation on Saturday, Oct. 18.

This inaugural 5K fun run began in Kalk Park in Glencoe, where participants and spectators enjoyed coffee, pancakes and baked goods served by food trucks. Upbeat music blasted from the bandstand with dancers keeping the beat to energize the runners.
