The Glencoe cottage at 239 Franklin Road that was designed by America’s most celebrated architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, is in danger of being demolished by its new owners. Wright designed the home in 1911 for his attorney and friend, Sherman Booth, and it was built in 1913.

A May 22 news release from the Village of Glencoe stated that “an incomplete demolition permit application has been filed. ... No demolition permit has been issued at this time.”
